Different types of Visa Permit Schemes
Fast track schemes are designed for certified companies to hire highly skilled international migrant workers from all over the globe except countries in the EU, EEA, and Switzerland.
A Positive List Scheme enables an applicant to obtain a visa if that person has been appointed and offered a job from the Positive List, proposed by the Danish Government.
The Pay Limit Scheme allows immigrants to work and stay in Denmark. The applicant must have a job offer letter from a Danish employer to apply for a work and residence visa under Pay Limit Scheme.
The applicant doesn’t need any work permit or any offers from an employer if the person holds a residential permit / Green Card via family reunification and humanitarian grounds. It is based on a pointing system and a minimum of 100 points are required to be eligible.
An applicant can go for Denmark PR after 8 years (in some cases 4 years) of temporary residence in the country. The applicant can seek PR at any point in time, fulfilling all the eligibility criteria. It must be submitted before the expiration of the current residence permit.
